The Millenium Wall is a collection of stone walls built by Dry Stone Wall Association teams from Caithness to the Cotswolds - and everywhere in between - that showcases how these add to the unique character of each region according to the local stone available in each area.

Actually, really interesting to see the different types of dry stone walls side-by-side. Each wall has a small information board that puts things into context. Dry stone walls are something we hikers probably pass by continuously without a second thought but these examples show how different such walls are in different parts of the UK. It's well worth a detour to visit especially since there's a good visitor centre/cafe on site.
