Vandring
Lamanai is an impressive Mayan ruin in Belize, located deep in the rainforest and accessible via the New River. It is a top destination for Belize shore excursions. The site, inhabited from approximately 1500 BC until the Spanish colonial period, includes large temple-pyramids, including the "High Temple" and the "Temple of the Masks," known for its monumental mask sculptures.
