Vandring
The Rhine Glacier was a glacier in the Appenzell Alps that shaped the topography as far as Lake Constance. Lake Constance and Lake Zurich are marginal lakes of the Rhine Glacier. The Rhine Glacier originated around 29,000 years ago near Chur. It reached its maximum level 24,000 years ago, reaching as far as Schaffhausen. The glacier was at its largest during the Riss glaciation, with an ice surface of 16,400 sq km.
