Vandring

An absolute must in HK. Take the MTR to Sha Tin. The climb starts behind the IKEA building. There are also wild monkeys there in the afternoon (be careful). The climb is great and the individual Buddhas are very beautiful.

Vandring

The temple and the path leading up are well worth going. From Sha Tin MTR station go to Pai Tau Village. Past the IKEA, or the parallel path past the cemetery, will get you to this Buddha lined path up the Ten Thousand Buddha Monastery. The path is lined with hundreds of statues, all gold colored and each one unique with its facial expressions and hand gestures.
Absolutely worthwhile if you have already covered the typical touristic highlights in Kowloon and Central.
