At the Hasensprung and the Koenigsalleebrücke, green areas open up to the Koenigssee and Herthasee, which, like the Dianasee and Hubertussee, are artificial in origin - unlike the Halensee in the north and the Hundekehlesee in the south of the villa colony. The building site was very swampy.
