Vandring

Vallehermoso beach is famous for the Castle of the Sea. From the beach you can see how it is built on the cliff. It was formerly a banana loading dock, and later it was used for cultural purposes. Today it is closed, but is in the process of restoration.

A pretty beach nestled at the end of the valley, a few kilometers from the town of Vallehermoso. It has some picturesque straw umbrellas to shelter from the sun, but there are also pools next to the beach with a snack bar, showers and changing rooms.

Vandring

Via steps created in the mountain one reaches the mountain ridge via serpentines. From here you have a great view of the Atlantic and the surrounding countryside. Unfortunately, up here at the time of my visit the way was blocked from this point, well, at least I could enjoy the view and get the planned hike on my next visit to La Gomera.
