Vandring

Not only the upper Naafbachtal is appealing. It is worth exploring the entire valley. Apart from the ascent or ascent to / from the valley, it can be hiked effortlessly. A constant interplay of light and shadow make this tour very pleasant even in hot temperatures.

Around 1980, all the estates and houses worthy of protection in the Naafbach valley were listed as historical monuments.

The Naafbach valley is a popular recreational area, as the Naafbach was actually supposed to be dammed to form a reservoir. There have been plans for this since the 1930s, which is why no large businesses have settled there since then and hardly any new development areas have been designated. In 1980 it all came to an end - the Naafbach valley was declared a nature reserve.
