    CAUTION: This old well is located directly on the L 514 country road (Totenkopf - St. Martin) and is only accessible via this road (approx. 300 m from the parking lot)!

    The name stone of this well is also one of the over 300 knight's stones of the Palatinate Forest Association (PWV).

    The following information about the well's name: "On the well trough [...] there are grooves [...] that could possibly have been caused by the wear and tear of axes, sickles, or scythes."
