Here in Beekstraat, on the banks of the Molenbeek, is this small Lourdes cave, constructed from boulders in combination with cement rustic, probably built at the beginning of the 20th century (1904? 1907?). It may have been founded as a thank you for a healing achieved in the t'Kint family, ubiquitous in Imde (see, among others, Imdehof, farm on Drijpikkelstraat, ...), from which several mayors of Wolvertem came.

Vandring
It is striking that the scene of the appearance of Mary to Bernadette is depicted here twice: once with Mary at the top right of the cave and Bernadette in the front left; a second time in the rock cavity closed off by a gate.
