A very scenic climb on excellent asphalt, starting off flat and gradually becoming steeper. Towards the end, the gradient remains constant at around 12%.

At the viewpoint, there are several cafes/bars and restaurants, which were quite busy and, according to Google, have good reviews.

Traffic is light, as a dirt road leads back to the main road from behind the viewpoint, and this road isn't heavily used. Therefore, I turned around and drove back to Agüimes (I considered the route more of a workout).

Landevejscykling

The road is in perfect condition from the Aguimes exit to the summit of Guayadeque. Tip: Bring plenty of water. You'll need it; the climb is steady. But the scenery is worth it. At this time of year, the almond trees are in bloom—a spectacular sight with the surrounding mountains.
