The old town hall from 1615 is located in the old town center of Briedel, which was surrounded by a ring wall from the beginning of the 14th century until 1689. For centuries, the town's municipal policy was decided in this building. It is located at the intersection of Zehntstrasse and Rathausstrasse and forms the small center of an idyllic, historic area in which several well-renovated half-timbered houses from past centuries are located.
