During my visit to today's Volkspark Altenplathow I discovered there an old building, which unfortunately is smeared with many graffiti. This park was planned in 1839 by Lenné as a manor park for the entrepreneur Pieschel.
Internet research has shown that the building is a Gothic mausoleum.

The Pieschel family mausoleum, also known as the Gothic Altenplathow Mausoleum, is located in Altenplathow Public Park in Genthin. It was built in the Gothic style. The park was created in 1839 by Lennè as an estate park for the entrepreneur Pieschel.
The mausoleum has been emptied, covered with graffiti, and is in a deplorable condition.
