A lot of water there.....at least it was like that in May.
In midsummer, not much of this overflowing water can be seen, then there are only small rivulets.
In any case, the water is spring water and you can drink it without hesitation.
There are also plenty of places to fill up your water bottles.

The taverns offer a variety of dishes and have normal prices.
No tourist rip-off!

Vandring

The area around Argiroúpolis is one of the most water-rich places in Crete. Here strong springs spring up, which in part even guarantee the water supply of Réthimnon.

Vandring

Really very watery area..........but not in midsummer.
Were there in May this time and were able to admire all the waterfalls and streams.
The water comes straight from the mountain and you can bottle it in many places.
But we've also been there in August and there were no waterfalls, just small rivulets.
