    The stretch bridge is now a landmark of Pirmasens and was built from 1927 to 1928. The trigger for the construction was the development of new building ground behind the Blümelbachtal. The bridge was made of reinforced concrete and consists of seven clamped arches. Overall, it is 212 meters long and the main arch has a pillar height of 24.84 meters.
