The chapel, located at the end of the Triana shopping street in San Telmo Park, was originally built in the 16th century by the sailors who lived there.
Inside there are various images, including the Virgin Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, which was carried around the chapel by the sailors of San Telmo during processions, together with the figure of San Pedro Gonzales Telmo.
