Built as an evangelical church in 1756. Initially without a tower, which, as it was believed, could dominate the city square (there were fears of religious riots because of this). Finally the tower was build in 1899. Today a Jesuit church. Interestingly, the Jesuits took over the church like squatters in 1945, without any legal title.
