The original Liederhalle was built in the years 1863-1864 on the initiative of the Stuttgart Liederkranz. During the war years 1943-1944 the hall was heavily destroyed. In the years 1955-1956, the New Song Hall was rebuilt in the same place and expanded and changed several times over the years.
