This section of the Rendija Canyon Trail that runs north of Rendija Road is a fantastic hike through Rendija Canyon. Surrounded by tall pine trees, you pass by, and sometimes squeeze through, unique rock formations with plenty of places in the shade to rest (a rarity in Los Alamos!). This is a fantastic trail close to town that is also popular with mountain bikers, so keep an ear out for them as you hike.
