Vandring
The Charles Island Trail is a coastal trail that leads from the Silver Sands State Park to Charles Island. Please be aware that the tidal island is only accessible by a sandbar during low tide. It provides scenic views of the Long Island Sound and once you reach the island, you will find yourself in a designated bird sanctuary.
