The Örtze Rapids refer to dynamic sections of the Örtze River, a significant natural waterway flowing through Lower Saxony, Germany. Vandring

Here the Örtze gurgles and roars through an artificially created barrier, which gives the whole place some "drama". Very pretty.

    Vandring

It is such a beautiful spot no matter what time of year it is. The rustling Örtze was very calming.

    Vandring

The whole way along the Örtze is beautiful. The Heidschnuckenweg also runs along here. There are always information boards on the edge with interesting information. However, the paths are relatively narrow and have roots. Therefore not suitable for prams.
