There are two elongated concrete elements on the slope of a pond dam above Dotternhausen. These sculptures, arranged at right angles and tapering downwards on all sides, each consist of two molds placed one on top of the other. The work, which is perpendicular to the crest of the dam, is cut from above in three places, so that two hump-like elements remain. This site-specific work of art at Dotternhauser Weiher is reminiscent of the fate of stranded boats. (gs)

Vandring

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the then local company 'Rohrbach Zement', the Dotternhausen Sculpture Street was initiated in 1988 between the factory and the residential community of Dotternhausen. After a competition, a jury selected ten works to be carried out. On the part of the work, the execution was linked to the task of working with the then new 'terrament', an earth-colored red material.
