The school, constructed in 1981, originally featured three lecture halls, 145 apartments, 20 offices, a clinic, and a gym. It was shut down in 1989 following the dissolution of Yugoslavia and the disbanding of the League of Communists. Throughout the 1990s, it was repurposed by the Croatian army, various ministries, and served as temporary housing for refugees. In 2019, a Chinese investor acquired the property, yet no significant developments have taken place. Today, the vast building stands abandoned, accessible at one's own risk.
