Vandring
Halfway between Castagneto Carducci and its Marina, Donoratico is located. Once known as Bambolo, the hamlet developed starting from 1863, the year in which the Livorno-Follonica railway was inaugurated and the railway station was built. Lively and full of artisanal and commercial activities, the town, in addition to being appreciated by tourists, is also characterized as a location for the construction of racing and pleasure boats. The offer of restaurants, taverns and trattorias is very varied. We particularly recommend Osteria San Michele.

Vandring
The town was founded in the first half of the 19th century, when Guido Alberto Della Gherardesca founded a number of settlements, mostly made up of farmhouses. Donoratico began to develop in 1863, when the Livorno-Follonica railway line was opened and the Bambolo station was built, which, at the request of the Counts of Della Gherardesca, was not located in the town of the same name, but next to their Mandriacce estate, around which the centre of Donoratico soon grew.
