The fountain "Playing Children" (Children's Fountain, Children's Circle), created by the sculptor Berthold Dietz, was erected in 1968 to commemorate the 850th anniversary of the
city of Zwickau.
It is located in the main market square, in the immediate vicinity of the Cloth Hall, where it is a popular meeting place for the people of Zwickau.
Three girls and two boys hold hands and form a cheerful circle.
