Vandring
The Schutzengelweg begins at the valley station on the Tegelberg and ends at the mountain station Tegelberg. Its length is about 5km and meanders steeply uphill about 903m. From the valley station, it goes through the nature reserve Ammergebirge. With his various charts he spans an informative arc from the hunters to the present day. This path offers a breathtaking view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau.

Great way, but it also has a lot in it. You can partly dodge on the slightly flatter ski trail, which extends the route a bit. But at the end of a steep climb remains where you have to overcome some stairs. Condition, strength and sure-footedness should be present. Good footwear with a grippy sole should be a matter of course in the mountains. But it is NOT a via ferrata to the mountain station!
