Vandring
Built on a steep mountain, almost a rocky spur on the Panaro valley below, the settlement of Iddiano is gathered around the church of San Michele and the imposing bell tower, once a lookout tower. The history of Iddiano is very ancient and linked to the church founded by the monks of San Pietro of Modena who exercised full ecclesiastical and civil jurisdiction there. In the 19th century, the massive tower was adapted into a bell tower with the opening of large windows for the belfry.
