Vandring

The cemetery of the lost village of Plöss has been beautifully restored. Here, too, many gravestones were destroyed in the past. The church has disappeared except for its foundation wall and a stone altar. The cemetery is enclosed by a rubble stone wall. Old trees provide shade.

The association "Heimatgemeinde Plöß" has been cultivating the memory for around 35 years. A cemetery and church walls were restored, a memorial site was erected and a home book was written. A new chapel has now been built on the ruins of a destroyed parish church.
