Contignano is about 65 km from Siena and 12 km from Radicofani.
Some of the sights in Contignano are the old castle, the church and the chapel.
Various events take place during the summer months, including the medieval festival and the famous ravioli festival.

Landevejscykling
The village is at the end of the first and biggest of the "Big Climbs" out of the floor of Val d'Orcia. Take a moment and explore the older part with the cute houses many adorned with painted small rocks. You can also catch a fine view of Radicofani, still 10 - 15 K away but the Tower is now clearly visible.
