Vandring

Better alternative to start a hike at the cliffs, there are not as many people here and you are relatively undisturbed compared to the visitor center.

Vandring

Moher Tower is the stone ruins of an ancient Napoleonic-era watchtower that stands on Hag's Head at the southern end of the Cliffs. It was used to signal the sighting of an enemy (at the time French) fleet.

Vandring

We started the tour here at the signal tower and found the rocks here very impressive and beautiful. However, it's about 5 km from here to the visitor center and you have to walk back again.
