Port d'Andratx, and its history goes back to ancient times. Originally used by the Phoenicians, the port experienced further growth during the Moorish rule in the Middle Ages. Today it is a tourist attraction and a residential area for wealthy locals and celebrities with exclusive villas and estates. The port is also known for its impressive marina infrastructure and is home to some of the most luxurious yachts in all of Mallorca.
