Vandring
The architectural ensemble surrounding this large square, covered with pebbles from the Amel, is classified as a Historical Monument. Most of the houses date from the 18th and 19th centuries. In the middle is the fountain with the city's platform, the symbol of the freedoms acquired by the people.

Vandring
Stavelot is typical of the 18th century with its stone houses, half-timbered buildings and remains from earlier times, its alleys and fountains. But without a doubt, the Grand Place (Saint-Remacle Square), with its cobblestones and its 18th-century architectural buildings, is the place that most impressively represents the heritage of the past.
