Vandring
Although of simple construction, this hermitage is one of the oldest temples in the region. The date of foundation is not known, it is spoken of the fifteenth century, but it is related to the monastery of Santa Tasia, which had great interests in the area and was the residence of the Archpriest of Trastámara, a Compostela ecclesiastical dignity. In the place is also the source of San Pedro Mártir or Fonte Santa, curative for rheumatism, foot pain and warts.

Vandring
At the small chapel there is a sacred spring. Your water should be effective against rheumatism, warts and sore feet - the latter is of course very welcome to pilgrims :)

At this point / I would like to quickly / say something about the source
(where it corresponds to the art of poetry / if this 'source' is a 'fountain'):
To quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 - 1979), who was known to a wide audience - especially in German-speaking countries - for his pun and "Noch'n Gedicht", with a short quatrain:
"There is certainly a lot of beautiful about it,
on the element, the wet.
Because you can drink the water.
But you can - also leave it alone. "
