Lovely small beach with a pier, toilets and a kiosk. Good for families with small children.

Famously known as the landing point for de Rullecourt’s invasion of the Island in January 1781, which led to the Battle of Jersey, the area has a number of military fortifications. La Roque Tower itself was built after the battle of Jersey.

Located on the southeastern tip of Jersey, La Rocque is a small fishing port with a long pier, perfect for lovely walks along the sea. A beautiful sandy beach invites you to spend a day at the beach. At low tide, the landscape in this part of the island changes dramatically, revealing miles of sandy beaches, channels, and reefs.
