Vandring
The St. Nicholas Church or St. Nicholas Church is a small Gothic church in Strasbourg. The church building belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Protestant Church of the Augsburg Confession of Alsace and Lorraine and is a monument. John Calvin preached at this church for the first time on September 8, 1538 and then held services for the small French-speaking community. Albert Schweitzer served as vicar for a while.

On April 11, 1908, he blessed the marriage of Theodor Heuss, the future President of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the journalist Elly Knapp.
He also plays the organ there, on which he interprets numerous works by Johann Sebastian Bach.
