The Plazuela Chabuca Granda is a small square dedicated to the famous Peruvian composer, located next to the steps of La Ermita Church and in front of the Bridge of Sighs. On it are two sculptures, that of Chabuca Granda and next to her that of Chalán José Antonio Lavalle, from which the composer was inspired to write the song "José Antonio".... It was performed on October 24, 1992 at the "Semana de Barranco” was inaugurated. It's so small that if you're not careful you'll walk by and not see it!
