Vandring

This viewpoint is the first view you will get at the geothermal area of Hveradalir when you start your hike at the highland base Kerlingarfjöll. Don’t miss out!

Vandring

It smokes and bubbles as if the earth were boiling. Great landscape with the many colors. Sometimes it is difficult to find the hiking trail. You shouldn't be afraid of heights.

Vandring

Please note that despite the beautifully made wooden stairs, it can be so slippery there due to the clay-like subsoil that it is sometimes safer to walk next to the stairs. Everything likes to stick neatly to the shoe profiles. We therefore recommend high mountain boots with a good profile, which can be cleaned well after the tour.
