Opførelsen af det nuværende gudshus begyndte i 1733 efter branden i den gamle kirke. Først i 1774 blev byggeriet (økonomiske problemer 😉) afsluttet.
Den nederste del af kirketårnet er middelalderlig, den fik en ny overdel i 1747.
