The building is in good structural condition and fairly well maintained.
The configured station, as terminus, had a bundle of tracks dedicated to passenger traffic and a further group of tracks for freight traffic with relative depot.
A two-track shed was also available for storing rolling stock.
Commercial traffic was essentially made up of the trade in timber from the area.

Vandring
There were three new stations, Camerta Cornello, San Martino de' Calvi Sud (today Lenna) and San Martino de' Calvi Nord (today Piazza Brembana). In addition, 11 tunnels and 4 bridges with spans exceeding 10 m were built.
The most important building was the spectacular bridge - viaduct with 8 arches, 119 m long, over the Brembo di Olmo near the Lenna station.
