Largo Winch is a Belgian comic series by Philippe Francq (artist) and Jean Van Hamme (screenwriter). The series was first published in 1990 and is based on Van Hamme's novel series of the same name. Van Hamme came up with these stories during a business trip to New York in 1973 and published them in book form in the period 1977-1980.

A small fresco which gives us a classic representation of the famous character imagined by Jean Van Hamme. Before being a comic book hero, Largo Winch was the central character of six novels published between 1977 and 1984.
It was only from 1990 that Largo Winch took visible form under the pencil of Philippe Francq. This association will take the novels already published to make a comic book version. Great idea, since the series is enjoying much greater success and notoriety than the original novels (photos taken in August 2011).
