Vandring
Villa Meyer, the most magnificent Neo-Renaissance villa in Gera, boasts a stately and opulent interior and is unique in the city. It was built between 1881 and 1883 by the architect Luis Kornmann for Privy Councillor Wilhelm Meyer.
The villa, located at the corner of the former Adelheidstraße, lies at the northern entrance to the city.
The facades feature striking, three-dimensional design elements.
In 1900, a two-story stable with a tower was built in the garden by the architect Sittig.
This stable was remodeled in 1905 according to plans by the architect Carl Zaenker.
