Vandring

The transformation is almost unbelievable – since 1987, the citizens of Deckenpfronn have been sitting for joyful celebrations or listening to concerts in the very same place where their ancestors once had to deliver the already meager harvest from their gardens and fields to the authorities during the summer and autumn.

Two large gates mark the uniqueness of this building in the Gäu community of Deckenpfronn: gates through which the tithes were once brought in, to be stacked up to the almost 15-meter-high gable.

Vandring

Listed building, built in 1807 with a self-supporting roof truss and the only existing double cross beam in Ceiling Pfronn. Used until 1850 for the delivery of tithes, 1980 purchased by the municipality, from 1984 conversion while retaining the barn style and since 1987 a community center.
On the 2nd and 3rd floor: village museum in the tithe barn
