Vandring

The current chapel was built in 1950, replacing a Gothic predecessor from 1890 that was destroyed in the Second World War. The chapel's location on the Sonntagsley hill is a well-known vantage point overlooking the old town, offering views of the historic old town with its slate roofs, as well as the surrounding landscape including the Rahmenberg and Haller hills.

Beautiful views and an impressive atmosphere both day and night! Up above, from the allotment area “Op der Plätt”, people and dogs are much closer to heavenly pleasure than their fellow citizens in the valley of the Rurstadt.
