Vandring
The summit height alone doesn't sound very impressive, but the ascent offers a lot of variety, regardless of whether you choose to climb the south side or the north side of the volcano. Charming passages and a breathtaking 360° panoramic view from the excavation sites of the natives in Zonzamas, over the coastal landscapes, to the historic capital of Lanzarote 'Villa de Teguise'.

Bjergvandring
The ascent should be via the south side and the descent via the north rim of the crater. In principle, a tour around the crater including the summit would also be possible from the north, but the descent in the south is much steeper and, due to the loose ground, much more strenuous and risky.
