The current chapel of St. Barbara in Toruń was founded in 1842 on the site of the previous one, dating back to 1209 and demolished in 1800, which was the destination of pilgrimages and a place of pilgrimage with a tradition probably dating back to the 13th century. According to the legend, it stands in the place of the apparitions of St. Barbara to the hermit. This is one of the first places of worship of St. Barbara in Poland

Osada Leśna Barbarka - a shelter under a roof for tourists, a pond, a playground for children, Leśna Chatka with an educational room and a bistro bar. Nearby there is another building - accommodation with a conference room, and the chapel of St. Barbara, one of the first places of worship of St. Barbara in Poland.
