Easy to reach by following the signs. No technical clothing or specific shoes are required. Walk also recommended for the less experienced.
Once you reach the cross, you will be able to enjoy a magnificent view.

Mesečev zaliv is located in the Strunjan landscape park under the up to 80 meter high flysch walls of the Strunjan cliff. It is located on a four kilometer long coast between Simonov and Strunjan bays, or more precisely between Strunjan and Ronek capes. This coast is the longest unspoilt coast in the Gulf of Trieste. The most beautiful, but not the easiest, route to the bay leads past the Strunjan cross, where an extraordinary view of the Gulf of Trieste opens up, which in clear weather reaches all the way to the highest peaks of the Julian Alps.
