Vandring
The Marienhöhe was a place of pilgrimage in the past. Virgins visited the Marienhöhe to honor Mother Maria. With the support of Fräulein Spitz, the pilgrimage site was expanded on September 1st, 1931. After the war a large cross was erected as a vow for the returnees. Later the statue of Mary and some St. Pictures in the rock wall.
Today the Marienhöhe is a popular hiking destination with a wonderful view into and over the Moselle valley.

Vandring
A small figure of Mary was set up in the rock face, in front of it numerous plaques with words of thanks. Above it is a large cross, which is probably illuminated in the evenings by the embedded fluorescent tubes and can be seen from afar.
A larger, gravelled area has several benches and candlesticks for prayers.
To the Moselle you can reach a lookout point with a rest bench via a staircase.
