The Sanctuary of Sant'Oronzo is a church dedicated to the patron saint of Ostuni, located on Mount Morrone, about 4 km from the city. It stands on a cave where, according to tradition, Sant'Oronzo took refuge to escape the persecutions of Nero and preach the Gospel. The cave contains a fresco depicting the saint with the Madonna and Saint John the Baptist and next to the church there is a miraculous fountain.
