House can be very busy. English Heritage say the quietest times are before 1100 and after 1400.
    Lovely grounds.
We did not purchase the guide book at the house and definitely felt we would have liked more information. The guide people in the house were very helpful though and generally knowledgeable.
Grounds lovely and plenty of space to stretch your legs.
