The construction of the evangelical church was completed in October 1900 at the foot of the Šibeník hill in the neo-Gothic style by the Trutnov builder Karl Rieger according to the plans of the Viennese architect Steinhofer. The dominant feature is the octagonal 43 m high tower. The landscaping around the church was appropriately integrated into Trutnov's spacious city park. The building served as a church until 1957. In 1980 the building was reconstructed into the Bohuslav Martinů Concert Hall, but it is also used for religious purposes.
