Roseness Lighthouse (also referred to a little confusingly as Roseness Beacon) was originally built in 1905, but the original cast-iron light was replaced in 1983.

In the distance it looks like a tall lighthouse at the foot of the cliffs, peaking over the top, but as you get closer, it's clear that it's just the "top" part of a lighthouse, atop the cliff.
